We are a LIPU oasis for biodiversity and bird protection. Our three artificial lakes for rainwater harvesting for drip irrigation of the vineyards, and a natural spring in the forest, provide refreshment to the bird species present.<\/span><\/p>

It is not uncommon to also encounter wild animals, such as fallow deer, foxes, and porcupines.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Thermal insulation<\/span><\/em><\/p>

The structure has been designed to ensure minimal energy and heat dispersion to the outside. With orientation towards the southeast and west, the Relais achieves high efficiency in maintaining internal heat. This is also made possible by the large thermal windows on the ground and upper floors, which not only maximize the use of sunlight but also ensure excellent thermal insulation. The heating and cooling system in the rooms is carried out through low-temperature radiant panels, located in the ceilings, floors, or walls, thus avoiding the creation of airflows and noise, offering maximum comfort to the guests.<\/span><\/p>

Architecture and renovation<\/span><\/em><\/p>

The admiration for the natural beauty of the places is also evident in the interior design of our facilities, which favors natural and recycled materials, mostly of local origin. This philosophy is particularly visible in the choice of materials used for the furnishings, which are typically made in Italy. The Relais stands out for the use of fine Italian woods, in particular oak; and local stone, including travertine, a rock characteristic of the Piceno territory. The fabrics, including the linens, are made of natural, untreated cotton. For paints, we have opted and continue to opt for ecological water-based paints. Furthermore, the Relais – Panoramic Wine Resort retains its original structure from 1812, reflecting a commitment to historical conservation and the use of natural and reused materials.<\/span><\/p>

Energy<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Photovoltaic and geothermal systems. Our vision of sustainable luxury is realized through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies that allow us to offer high-level comfort and services with full environmental respect. Energy efficiency is at the core of our ethos: we use clean and renewable energy to power the Relais – Panoramic Wine Resort. Electricity is generated by state-of-the-art photovoltaic panels that convert sunlight into electric current, reducing environmental impact and contributing to a more sustainable future. Additionally, we have implemented an effective geothermal system for heating and cooling, which utilizes the constant temperature of the subsoil, reached at a depth of 110 meters, to transfer heat to the surroundings in winter and coolness in summer. Our commitment to sustainability is completed with a cogeneration plant powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), the most eco-compatible among fossil fuels, allowing us to produce energy while minimizing emissions of harmful substances and the release of residual heat into the atmosphere. This also allows us to limit energy losses associated with the transportation and distribution of electricity.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
